Many people have sung this song but versions by MS Subbalakshmi and Bhimsen Joshi stand out due to their popularity. The song above sung by Bhimsen Joshi. This composition is frequently heard in South Indian marriages after the main ceremony when the bride is about to enter the groom's "house" inside the kalayana mandapam (marriage hall). Sometimes, this song is also spelt like Bhagyada Laxmi...
